Iconic Arizona was on full display for Pooja and Sugam’s Monument Valley engagement session!

These East Coaster’s came out for an epic road trip to see some of the best Arizona has to offer. Even during Covid, with the park closed, they leaned in and trusted me to find the perfect location for their engagement session with a memorable backdrop. I loved the challenge of finding spots that weren’t inside the actual park but just as epic for these two epically beautiful souls! Thinking of planning a Monument Valley engagement session? Pooja was stunning in all black and I loved that she wanted to incorporate a touch of their Indian culture with her incredible outfit. They both popped off the desert backdrop in all black head to toe. Pooja and Sugam’s connection was tangible and the super open desert landscape acted as the picture perfect contrast to their intimate picnic for two! We popped champagne, danced in the wind and ran down deserted roads until the sun set at the end of the day.

And who could blame them? It’s magic! While we waited for the sky to turn black, we headed to their lodge for a cozy dinner and got to spend some time getting to know each other. I adore those moments of hanging out with my couples, especially when they’ve travelled all the way across the country for a session with me! Once the stars were bright in the sky and the moon was out, we headed back outside to grab those treasured captures.
