New Year's Eve Elopement in Joshua Tree

This New Year’s Eve inspired elopement in Joshua Tree was all about the details!! Let’s talk about them. First off, the invitations and name cards were made out of clay. CLAY! They were so unique and beautiful and I really hope that this is an upcoming 2019 wedding trend because I’m all about it. Then we have the beyond gorgeous table setting in the middle of the desert surrounded by Joshua trees and mountains. And can we talk about the disco ball hanging off of the Joshua tree?! Seriously obsessed. From the gold foiled plates, to the sequined table cloth, every detail on the table setup was so perfectly festive for New Year’s Eve. The bride’s dress was an absolute dream to shoot with all of it’s movement and sparkle and her glam makeup was the perfect addition to tie her whole look together. How cool does the groom look in his maroon suit, camel colored boots, and bow tie?! Their outfits complimented each other perfectly. And let’s not forget about the amazing florals. I love a big, wild, bold bouquet and this one was exactly that! Joshua Tree National Park is one of my favorite places in California to shoot. It’s just a few hours away from me here in Arizona and it offers so much: amazing Joshua trees, mountains, desert, jumbo rocks, chollas, and big beautiful open skies! It really is a photographer’s dream. Every time I visit I feel like I’m on another planet. I hope you enjoy this shoot as much as I did and Happy New Year!!!
