Horseshoe Bend Engagement Session

I was able to meet up with Hayley and Chris at Horseshoe Bend for their engagement session while my husband and I were road tripping around Northern Arizona in an RV with our two pups. I love shooting at Horseshoe Bend, it always blows me away no matter how many times I shoot there. I had so much fun exploring some new spots around Horseshoe Bend with these two. I absolutely loved their all black outfits! They stood out so well against the orange/red canyon and it looked amazing. Fun fact: when you hire me as your photographer, I send you an Outfit Guide to help you choose the best outfits that will compliment the location we are shooting at. I know so many people struggle with figuring out what to wear so I like to make it as easy as possible. I had a blast shooting all around the bend and admiring the view at sunset with Hayley and Chris. As we were making the trek back to our cars (or in my case our RV for the weekend), we saw a massive moon lighting up the sky and had to stop and get a few shots in front of it. I can’t resist a good moon! Shooting at dusk is one of my favorite things, the photos always turn out so different and cool and it’s always a plus to get the moon or some stars in the shots. I get to come back here this summer and do some night-time starry bride + groom photos and I’m so excited about it. I love going outside the norm to create amazing images.
