Surprise Proposal in Scottsdale

Tiffany + Ryan

I’ve shot with Tiffany + Ryan a few times and they are just the sweetest couple. So when Ryan reached out to me to secretly capture his proposal, I was so dang excited. We met up early in the morning at the Onmi Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was a chilly quiet morning and it seemed like we had the whole place to ourselves. We found the perfect spot with an awesome view of Camelback Mountain and set up a circle of multicolored rose petals. Then we made a plan. I was going to hide out and secretly capture the moment. I brought my husband with me to seem less suspicious hanging around, but we ended up just hiding in a bush instead haha! Ryan setup a cute scavenger hunt for Tiffany that ended up at the gorgeous proposal spot. It was really sweet to watch him pacing back and forth and mentally preparing for the moment and what he was going to say to her. I love watching that moment because it’s so vulnerable and real. As Tiffany walked around the corner I could see her face light up when she saw Ryan and the whole beautiful setup. He poured his heart out to her, got down on one knee and popped the question! She was so excited and shaking like a leaf from the nerves. I love being able to capture those memories and always want my couples to look back and feel exactly what they felt on that day. Proposals are so exciting and fun to photograph. I always feel like a secret agent(which would also be a dream job for me so you can see why I love doing this haha). I’m so excited  for these love birds and can’t wait to shoot their wedding this fall! Congrats Tiffany + Ryan!!!!
