Sedona Engagement Session | Gemma + Matthew

Sedona has a magic about it, something that draws people in and makes them fall in love instantly! For Gemma and Matthew that couldn’t be more true. It was so special to be able to photograph their love for each other and the red rocks that we all love so much! Whether you believe in the vortex energy Sedona is known for or not, you have to admit — Sedona is out of this world!

Gemma and Matthew’s Sedona Engagement Session

For a true Sedona experience, they rented a jeep so we could off-road to one of the best spots there is. We were lucky enough to land a white jeep so I was so stoked to incorporate it into the photos since it popped off the red desert backdrop. Matthew had never been off-roading before, so he was apprehensive on the way there. But on the way back he had so much confidence in his off-roading abilities and mobbed down the trail no problem! It was so much fun to watch his excitement driving! 

When we reached the top, we got to spend some time with the jeep and celebrate our off-road adventure before Gemma and Matthew got changed into something a little more dressy! Gemma was a beaut in her dark red dress that complimented the burnt red desert landscape. Her dress grabbed the wind and simply danced high in the sky! It was everything they were hoping for as they cuddled and kissed on top of the red rocks.  The views in Sedona always take our breath away but when it’s paired with true love, it’s even more special! Their Sedona engagement session will always be a favorite.
