Grand Escalante Couple's Session | Kelly + Matthew

Kelly and Matthew’s Grand Escalante couple’s session was absolutely everything! They were a complete dream and I could literally talk to them for hours on end. I’m so glad they picked me for this adventure with them! Kelly and Matthew packed up their van and drove all the way out to the southwest with their dogs in tow after their intimate wedding back east. They let me take them to one of my very favorite secret spots and it was so much fun exploring with them and seeing it all through their eyes! These two are my kind of people!

Kelly and Matthew really wanted to explore some unique rock formations – I knew just where to take them and this spot was absolutely perfect. As we walked on the trail I had so much fun seeing their excitement and wonder for this other worldly place I got to take them to. Northern Arizona and Southern Utah really pack the magic when it comes to out of this world scenery. From wind blown canyons to unreal rock formations and sweeping desert views – we have a little of everything depending on what you’re looking for. The stark backdrop was a perfect contrast to capture their snuggle sessions and kisses!

Because their session was all about them, we had a ton of time to just be there, talk and explore. It was honestly just so much FUN! Don’t underestimate the power of dedicated time and the sense of calm that can bring to your session. Kelly and Matthew really nailed it with their intentional focus on one another and it speaks volumes through the images.
