Intimate Wedding in The Superstition Mountains | Alyx + Tyler

Alyx and Tyler are true lovers of the desert (and their dogs)! They brought all their family and friends from out of state to make that dream come true and it sure was dreamy! With the mountains showing off for them as the perfect backdrop, their intimate wedding in the Superstition Mountains was as magical as they come! Here in Arizona, we sure are lucky to call the otherworldly beauty of the desert our backyard.

The morning of the big day, we met for a sunrise first look with just the two of them.

They really wanted a quiet, private moment together and I’m here for it! Pro-tip: carve out time in your day for just the two of you. These small moments will forever be some of your favorite and most cherished. I can’t get enough of their light heartedness and completely smitten mood that made it a breeze to shoot them. Alyx literally never stopped smiling and Tyler couldn’t keep his eyes of her, but who could blame him? Alyx was positively glowing!

Later on, the ceremony and reception were set under string lights and stars among the cactus and wide open desert.

The gathering of loved ones was the focus of their big day with community style tables. I loved how Alyx and Tyler set the tone from the start - that celebrating love was what it was all about! After I do’s were exchanged, Alyx and Tyler sealed it with a double shot-ski to kick off the party! We were served dinner under a nearly full moon as the sky faded to blue letting only the stars fill the sky for everyone to see. The desert came out to play for their wedding in the Superstition Mountains and it didn’t disappoint.
