Posada Saguaro National Park Wedding | Lauren + Alex
Lauren and Alex’s Saguaro National Park wedding at Posada by Joshua Tree House was a stormy desert dream! We don’t often get moody clouds or rain here in Arizona but when we do, it’s seriously magical! The dark skies and breeze add a softness to the rugged, sun baked desert terrain that’s a rare sight but always welcomed! Our bride, Lauren, grew up spending a lot of time in Tucson so it was a special place to her and the perfect place to say “I do”.
I will never get over the beauty that is Posada by Joshua Tree House in Tucson.
It’s perfectly curated and a photographer’s dream. With picture perfect nooks, towering saguaros, and that diffused desert light – something about it is pure magic. Lauren and Alex exchanged I do’s in a ceremony surrounded by Saguaro’s and Cholla cactus. They stood under a geometric arch that was decked out in pampas grass and earthy bohemian florals. It was a soft and romantic touch that felt perfectly at home among the cacti. They invited their closest family to be a part of their intimate celebration that was filled with emotion and sweetness, and the cutest little flower girl!
To celebrate, they kicked off their intimate reception with their first dance under a hanging cloud of palms and pampas grass.
Our groom, Alex, wasn’t able to dance with his mom so he danced with his sister, and it was the sweetest moment filled with so much emotion. Their intimate dinner afterwards was lit by candles and string lights as they gathered around to share good food, emotional toasts and stories. The celebration continued until the candles faded into star light to the soundtrack of laughter and clinking glasses, my personal favorite sound!
