Boho Desert Bridal Session | Jess + Drew

The experiences that fill me up endlessly are the ones where couples trust my vision and let the magic happen! A week before their wedding, Jess and Drew followed me down a bumpy, dusty road to a secret spot in the Arizona desert until we found the perfect location for their desert bridal session. I’ve driven past the area so many times and always dreamt of shooting there. It was everything I imagined it would be and more.

Completely unique, remote and romantic – we were the only ones around for miles! Jess and Drew’s desert bridal session was perfection!

I’ve known Jess for years and getting to capture this moment in time for her was so special. She was a total knock out in her whimsical lace gown with flower crown. The striking contrast between the sun baked desert and her bridal gown floating in the wind was the epitome of ethereal. I mean, just look at the way Drew lights up when he looks at Jess, his pure joy was warm as the Arizona sun. These two were a dream!

We roamed the desert until the sky turned pink, soaking in the last moments of light. I had Jess and Drew snuggle up under the quiet sunset and soak in the surroundings. There’s really nothing better than taking the time to be truly present in the days and weeks leading up to your big day. It all goes by so incredibly fast, so when given the opportunity to slow down, take it!
