Saguaro National Park Elopement in Tucson, AZ | Jessica + Jack

Tucked away near Saguaro National Park in Arizona, the Joshua Tree House Posada welcomes you to its little slice of Tucson heaven. With an artistic aesthetic, carefully curated details and earthy bohemian vibes around every corner it was a true desert oasis for Jessica and Jack’s Saguaro National Park elopement.

I originally met Chicagoans, Jessica and Jack, years ago when they hired me for an adventurous engagement session. We had an instant connection and had so much fun together! After their session, they sent me a card in the mail asking me if I would be their elopement photographer (which I thought was adorable and to this day, I still have the card). During the time leading up to their elopement we made sure to connect and get together every time they were in town. We’ve developed a super strong bond that I really cherish and feel so lucky to call them my friends. They are such amazing, loving, and big hearted people.

When Covid hit in March, plans were derailed over and over again, just like they were for so many couples. There were cancelled flights, travel restrictions and endless roadblocks. So when the day finally arrived, it felt even more monumental that we finally made it to the big day! It was totally worth the wait! Jessica and Jack love the desert and feel a major connection to it, making it an easy choice for their Saguaro National Park elopement. They kept it intimate with just the two of them surrounded by towering saguaros, pockets of chollas and the sun baked desert dust. The Tucson desert showed up and showed off with ethereal golden light as they exchanged vows.

We finished the day by exploring the stunning grounds of the Joshua Tree House Posada. Taking in the Arizona desert landscape, picture perfect vignettes and cozy corners – it was such a special time with just the two of them, finally as Mr. and Mrs!
