Desert Wedding at the Paseo

If you want to see the most dreamy desert wedding at the Paseo venue in Arizona, here it is! I first met Kate + Dylan when I shot their engagement session at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego. I instantly clicked with them and knew we would be in for an adventure. Speaking of adventure, we went down to the beach and almost got completely stuck because of the tide! I had to hold my gear above my head so it wouldn't get wet. It was pretty hilarious and we all looked crazy trying to get out of there without being washed away. Kate + Dylan’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. The wedding was at the Paseo which is a beautiful venue in the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, Arizona. Kate wore the most gorgeous all lace dress with a stunning long veil and Dylan had the coolest maroon suit and floral tie. Kate and Dylan decided to not do a first look and to see each other for the first time as Kate walked down the aisle. It caused such a sweet and emotional reaction from the groom which I think is one of the best parts of a wedding to be able to capture. The whole ceremony was so heartfelt and I don’t think there was a dry eye out there. You could really feel Kate + Dylan’s love for each other. After the ceremony we got to go out to the desert among the gorgeous saguaros and cholla with the Superstitious mountain as the backdrop to capture the new Mr. and Mrs. I love being able to steal the couple away during their day to really allow them to enjoy time just the two of them. We also made our way down the street to this beautiful white chapel for some photos. After photos, we joined everyone at the reception which was filled with a thousand twinkling lights, a donut wall and a Photo Booth in a VW bus. Kate really got Dylan with the cake smash and everyone danced the night away until their sparkler exit! It was such a beautiful day and I loved being the one to capture it all.
